Jora Jobs is a job board that connects job seekers with verified employers in New Zealand.

Our mission

Finding the right job, or the right person for a job, should be simple, honest and safe. We built Jora Jobs so that job seekers can find genuine opportunities and apply in a few clicks, and so that employers can reach suitable candidates and manage their applications in one place.

What we offer job seekers

  • Free to use. Searching, creating a profile and applying for jobs is always free for job seekers.
  • One profile, many applications. Build your profile once (education, experience, skills, training, languages and CV) and apply to any job with it.
  • Clear job ads. Every ad shows the location, job type, salary information when the employer provides it, and the closing date.
  • Track your applications. See the status of each application and withdraw it while it has not been reviewed yet.
  • You decide who sees you. Your profile is private unless you make it public, and search engines only list it if you allow that too.

What we offer employers

  • A company profile that shows candidates who you are.
  • Job ads with screening questions, salary details and an application deadline.
  • An applicant list with filters (experience, education, expected salary, location, skills) and export to Excel or PDF.
  • An API to publish jobs straight from your own HR or applicant tracking system.

How we keep job ads trustworthy

  • Company verification. Employers provide business details and registration documents before their jobs can go live.
  • Every job is reviewed. Our team approves new job ads before they are published and can remove any ad that breaks our rules.
  • No fees for job seekers. Employers may never ask candidates for money. We remove ads and accounts that do.
  • Only open jobs are shown. When a job closes or its deadline passes, it disappears from the site.
  • Reporting. Anyone can report a suspicious job or company, and we investigate every report.

Some job ads are gathered from other public job sources and checked by our team before they are published.
