Impact Fit Outs is a Launceston-based commercial construction and fit-out contractor working across Tasmania. We deliver commercial fit-outs, refurbishments, de-fits and make-good works, project and site management, and selected high-end residential work.

We're a young, well-backed business with a clear plan to grow. We're building a team of quality tradespeople who take pride in their work, and we'll look after the people who help us get there.

THE ROLE

We're looking for qualified carpenters who want variety, good projects and a business that treats them properly. One week you might be framing partitions and fitting out an office. The next you might be on a hospitality fit-out or doing detailed finishing work on a high-end home.

You'll work under an experienced Lead Carpenter and Site Manager on well-run sites, with the right gear and proper planning behind every job.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Commercial fit-outs: partition framing, ceilings, doors, joinery installation and finishing

- Strip-outs, de-fits and make-good works

- General commercial carpentry and building

- High-end residential carpentry and finishing

- Working alongside and mentoring apprentices

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Trade qualification in carpentry (Cert III or equivalent)

- Commercial or fit-out experience is a big plus, but strong residential carpenters wanting to move into commercial are welcome

- White Card (construction induction)

- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

- EWP / scissor lift ticket: preferred or required?

- Pride in your work and a good attitude on site

- Reliable, punctual and a team player
