Senior Associate - Insurance

About the role

An exciting opportunity has come up for a Senior Associate/Special Counsel to join the firm's growing defendant insurance team, with a particular focus on professional indemnity matters, complex liability and regulatory investigations. You will work alongside experienced insurance specialists on a range of interesting and complex matters, while managing your own files and developing strong relationships with insurer clients. The team offers excellent mentorship and support, with genuine opportunities to develop your technical expertise and progress your career.

Key responsibilities

• Work on a range of interesting and complex matters within defendant insurance

• Manage your own files

• Develop strong relationships with insurer clients

• Focus on professional indemnity matters, complex liability and regulatory investigations.

About you

• 3+ years' PAE, ideally within defendant insurance

• Experience or exposure to professional indemnity matters

• The ability to effectively manage your own file load

• Strong communication and client relationship skills

• A collaborative approach and strong problem-solving skills
